When is the deadline?

Press credentials should be requested by March 1, 2024. Onsite requests will not be granted. Press credentials are not transferable.

What does the press pass cover?

A press pass to The RISE Summit on Social Determinants of Health offers complimentary access to all sessions open to the media and the exhibit hall.

Meals and beverages offered to registered attendees will also be made available to media with press credentials.

Where can I pick up my badge?

Press passes will be made available for collection at the registration desk. Media are required to wear conference name badges for the entire event.

What is the press policy?

Approved press pass holders must abide by the following provisions:

  • During open sessions, speakers and panelists may be identified and quoted. However, reporters must first obtain permission to quote audience members who ask questions or comments during the session.
  • Members of the press must identify themselves as such when speaking with attendees during informal conversations and mutually agree as to whether the conversation is to be used in a published story.
  • Members of the press are not permitted to ask questions of panelists during sessions. We reserve the time for questions and answers during sessions for paid conference attendees so that they get the most out of their conference experience. However, the conferences offer plenty of networking opportunities where panelists will be available to speak to attendees and the press. If you would like to arrange an interview with any of the conference speakers, we will be pleased to help you arrange it.

Can I publish any results presented at the conference?

Many results and statistics will be presented at the conference, but may not be published. Journalists will need to request permission from the speaker/presenter in order to use the data.

Will I have access to all areas of the conference?

Please check with onsite staff for restrictions on coverage and photography. Video recording of all or portions of the conference is prohibited without prior approval from RISE. Check with RISE media contact to arrange interviews with speakers.

Will RISE make hotel and travel arrangements for media representatives?

The media is responsible for their own travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and meals not part of the conference.
